SPIRIT of the SAINTS

The St Helena Distillery is the most remote distillery in the world. Located in the South Atlantic on the island of the same name, it was founded in 2006 by Paul Hickling, a qualified Welsh distiller.

The distillery produces a range of spirits that capture the true taste of its home, including gin made with local botanicals, lemon and coffee liqueurs made from lemons and coffee beans grown on the island. All products are produced in small batches using traditional methods. The rum is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of three years, while the gin is distilled in a copper pot still.

The brand name 'Spirit of the Saints' is inspired by the affectionate way in which St Helenians refer to each other as 'Saints', reflecting the islanders' strong sense of community and religious heritage.
