The Maha Kumbh Mela is a Hindu celebration hold every 144 years, in Prayagraj, North India, at the confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. The event marks a special constellation alignment with seven planets becoming visible in a particular conformation only during these rare historical moments.

Over the course of 45 days in January and February 2025, over 660 million people attended the latest ‘Mahakumbh’ making it the largest human gathering in history.
